Blog Backlink Creation Part 2: Get backlinks to your blog by writing an article
An effective strategy to get traffic to your blog by using backlinks is to write articles and submit them to various article directories. The idea behind this strategy is that you write a pillar article which provides great information, tips and insight in your field. With the article you supply a biography which includes a backlink to your blog.
This article is then hosted on an article directory where anyone can come and take the content and display it on their own blog. The better the article, the more people will take it and post it on their blog.
The more people post it, the more backlinks you get to your blog since it is mandatory that in order to reuse the content from an article directory you need to publish the author biography along with it to create a backlink.
The article should be 350 - 500 words in length and written properly for the web. What I mean is that it should provide specific steps to do something and provide value to readers. The more value, the more it will be published in various locations creating backlinks to your blog.
Here is a list of three article directories you can post your writing at to get backlinks to your blog.
There are literally hundreds of article directories out there so start with these three and then keep on submitting your article out to at least 10 places.
