How can the All In One SEO Pack plugin improve my blog
The All In One SEO Pack by Michael Torbert is frequently mentioned as a popular plugin that bloggers can use to improve their search engine ranking. I personally have it activated on each of my blogs and have found it quite useful for a number of different reasons.
What it does
Every time you go to write a new post, you will see a box of options (title, keyword, description) that need to be filled out before you publish it. You can configure these options so don’t forget to pay attention to the settings for this plugin! By taking advantage of these options, you can help to improve the search engine optimization of your blog.
Titles
The titles of your posts are very important. Most bloggers include their targeted keywords into the title of their posts to improve their search engine ranking. This plugin will allow you to create a secondary title that is used as a meta title.
Description
Make sure to take the time to fill out the description box that is provided. When potential readers stumble across your blog in their search engine results, the description can be used to entice them to choose your blog to read. Make the information useful and engaging to increase the odds of them clicking on your blog!
Keywords
Always remember to add the keywords for your post into the keywords box. You can also configure this plugin to generate your keywords if you are uncertain which ones you want to use! In addition to adding your keywords here, you will also want to remember to add the appropriate tags and categories for your post as part of your regular posting.

What is keyword stuffing
There are certain things you can do to improve your blog’s search engine ranking. One of the most popular things that people do requires adding a selection of keywords into the content of their blogs. While this is a tactic that is encouraged, it has to be done right or you could find yourself in a situation where you are keyword stuffing.
Simply put, keyword stuffing is a practice where the blogger literally stuffs their blog with keywords. In the past, this practice was utilized to quickly boost a blog’s search engine ranking. The problem with this tactic is that content that has been stuffed with keywords most likely provides little (if any) value to the reader.
It was eventually realized that this type of content was becoming a problem. The algorithms that control search engine rankings were updated to take keyword stuffing into consideration. Today when they crawl your site, search engines pay attention to keyword density. If these crawlers find that you have been stuffing keywords into your content, they penalize you with a lower search engine ranking.
The worst violators of keyword stuffing may even be banned from the search engine altogether. Have no fear. If you find yourself in this situation, you can simply clean up your blog and resubmit it to the search engine for reconsideration.
I should also point out that there are other ways, aside from the content, to stuff your blog with keywords. Many bloggers will camouflage keywords into the background of their site in order to make them invisible to the reader. It is also possible to stuff the meta tags of your blog with keywords. In many cases, search engines do not even acknowledge meta tags because of this problem.
The moral of the story: Include keywords in your content, just don’t over do it!

Everyone loves the idea of search engine optimization and everyone gives out tips like candy. You will read list and list of the best search engine optimization tips possible by some of the most popular bloggers in the business and you can read them over and over and try to follow every single tip you find but in the end you still could get no traffic. Why? Here are two search engine optimization tips you should always keep in mind when designing your blog and implementing SEO tips to improve your traffic.
If you try to do too much you will fail with your SEO. What works is picking a few SEO Tips you are comfortable with based on your time and dedication to the project you are working on and exploit the method as much as possible. If you want to get backlinks go and get dozens and dozens of them. Don’t get three backlinks and try something else. Master an SEO technique before you move on. Today I was doing some searching on google and found in the bottom sections for News results and Blog Posts near the related topics section on page 1. I did a little searching on how that gets populated and found that basically if you have a blog that is well indexed (read, not brand spanking new) your new blog posts will show up there if your keyword was within the search criteria.
This does not mean your post will remain on page one for a long time at all but it could result in a nice little spike within your readership each time you put out a new post. This goes back to consistency I suppose. The more you post, the more potential and time you will spend on page one of a search result which could translate to increase readership. The whole point of SEO is to get on page one so that once you are found, the quality of your content can retain a reader. This new little feature gives you an edge in getting some traffic.
For the news part, if you have a blog that is posted on by many authors you can qualify for the news section of google. You just need to post at a certain pace and have more than one author on your blog. If you qualify for that you can submit your blog here to try and get it listed so that your blog posts can picked up as a news source. If you get that, there is a whole other world out there for getting traffic as then you might be able to make the most of google news alerts but more on that later.
Next time you post, go to google and search on the keywords of your blog. See if it is working for you. If not read up on what you are doing wrong. This is a pretty cool feature you should try to take advantage of especially if you have a blog that is not high ranked but has been around for a while.
