Links versus images – Ways to make money with adsense
There is no hard and fast rule about which is better when it comes to ways to make money with adsense – using link ads or image only advertisements but my opinion is that it all depends upon your theme and where you have spots to place them.
For me the skyscraper on the right column with images only is one of my consistent producers in a few blogs where it always makes money with adsense day after day yet on the same note I have a few links only ads which are located within the single post pages and they produce as well. However if I was to put link only skyscrapers my experience is that they do NOT produce likewise an image within the post did not do as well as the link only banner.
So what does this all mean when it comes down to using links versus images to make money with adsense? That there is no hard and fast rule. Play around with your theme and create your ads with a mixture of both. Leave it for a month and then look at the statistics that get generated for your click thru rate. If you see that one ad got no clicks while the rest did, then make a change to something else. Monitor for another month and make additional changes until you find each month all of your consistently are making money with adsense. The worst thing you can do is set it up and leave it thinking it will magically work itself out. Don’t be afraid to play around and find what works best for your theme.

When you are done go back and read it over. If you see an opportunity to add your keyword in here and there do it but only when it works in naturally.

By this, I simply mean that categories encompass a much broader spectrum, while tags are more specific. For example, you could have a blog about sports and categories for football, basketball, and baseball. Posts within each of these categories could have specific tags, such as super bowl or the final four.

Although it is certainly not a requirement, many bloggers like to place a tag cloud in one of their sidebars. The purpose of this tag cloud is to display a list of your tags in a distinct location that readers will easily recognize.
